Giannos is a software and AI engineer with over 20 years of experience delivering mission-critical systems. He holds a PhD in Engineering from the University of Melbourne, specialising in information security, network forensics and privacy, and is a CISSP-certified security professional. Before founding Neuronics he led the engineering of national-scale government platforms in Cyprus — including the UBO Register and the Funding Apps platform — and integrations with European systems such as e-Justice. He has authored 14+ peer-reviewed publications in security, privacy and cryptography, and today focuses on applied AI: computer vision, forecasting, LLMs and multi-agent systems.
